Did The Sims "Open For Business" expansion pack make the game too easy?

I love The Sims and Open For Business is my favorite expansion pack. Simoleons are so easy to make and the hobby stations make some pretty fantastic things. Some would say that these things make the game very easy: too easy. I'm speaking specifically about the highest level flower arangement, snapdragons. They slowly raise all motives except energy as long as you're near them. Put them all other your house and all you have to do is sleep. Does this take the fun away from keeping your sims alive and happy or do you welcome the ease it brings?

Wow. I never known that! I have my moments where my house is totally choas and I need something to make it all better. The Sims is easy once you get the hang of it and know how to pay it. My brother don't understand how I keep playing for hours doing the same thing over and over. It really depends on the story you are making for your Sim! There are ways to make it much easier, but you can always choose not to use them. I will try the Snapdragon though!!

It's fantastic. I can't play without it. Well, I can but I don't want to. :)

i v installed this expansion pack but didnt try it out that much, and thankfully i wont experiment with the snapdragon thing u have mentioned, that would really just spoil the fun out of the game. i personally was extremely disappointed with OFB. the whole business thing wasnt really interesting. if the game is too easy, it just gets boring after a while.

I actually think it makes the game harder. Unless you cheat to make the sim have a highest gold badge, like, maxmotives while they are doing it, it takes a long time to do. Also, my sims have NO luck in making sales. It makes me angry to start businesses. I also don't like snapdragons, they take the fun out of it. I love the challenge of not using cheats. It's way more fun than without it. When I cheat I get bored of the family quickly, when I don't, I can play that family for generations!

i didn't knew that one. the sims 2 are already pretty easy to play, so i don't think something like that would ruin it even more. You can always not use it, to make it more difficult, and put one sim in a house and let him have 7 baby's at once, that may be a challenge, although it was still fairly easy. I don't think there are a lot of people who play the game because it's a challenge, but more for the fun of it. For watching your sims do various things. And offcourse for the housebuilding :) .
