RC Trucks/Cars Etc...

My fiance has 2 rc trucks. He has a ball playing with those things but boy are they one expensive hobby. Stuff seems to break on that thing each time he plays with it, but then again he is new to the RC stuff as it is so i guess you break it alot when your first learning how to run them properly. my sisters boyfriend has an RC car and he races his at a track and he enjoys his as well. Does anyone else enjoy the RC cars and trucks and do any of you race them at race tracks? and do you know any good sites or reccomend any good RC sites he can check out?
