cheering | | how many of you have read about the seven people arrested for cheering at a high school commencment, fort mills high school in south carolina they are facing disorderly conduct charges, which carry fines to 1,000 dollars or 30 days in jail for being excited about thier freindsor family graduating. I feel the police are out of line, and if they start that here I had better reserve my cell, when my daughters graduate i will be very excited

Commencements have always been a noisy affair, as parents, family and friends cheer on the graduate. If this is the way they want to handle the law, then it would stand to reason that they would have to enforce the same laws at sporting events and the like.
Utter stupidity and a sheer waste of tax dollars is what it is, which is typical of our county, state and federal governments these days.
