Over in my discussion about chocolate covered bananas, someone from Malaysia asked what what this tasty treat tastes like? Seems they have no bananas in Malaysia.
Can you help out?
Explain the experience of eating a Chocolate Covered Banana to someone who doesn't understand.
It's not that easy, for me anyhow. I left a totally inadequate response to his question and told him I would ask other mylotters to help out. Will you?

haha ^_^ MAYbe u just misinterpreted the other party's msg ^_^ BUt it's also true that different countries will use different names for their own fruits, for example, bananas.. It has got 2 different types of bananas.. On the overall u will call it by general names, but for chinese, there are actually 2 names for it for both different types.. hehe

I need not point out that Malaysia being a tropical country grows a lot of bananas since some of the members have done so already. I have tried coating a banana with chocolate at least in two ways: bite-sized bananas dipped in chocolate fondue and spreading chocolate syrup over a plain banana. Either ways, the taste is heavenly! The chocolate somehow enhances the plain tasting banana not to mention the contrast in textures as you eat them - smoothness of chocolate against the velvety meat of the banana! Purely DIVINE!

There are a lot of bananas in Malaysia... even in my country the Philippines... and they come in different species... there are the small ones called "senorita", the big one, green ones, yellow, etc... we are just not use to eating it with sweets like chocolate... i prefer my banana plain or cooked in syrup... and have never tried covering it with chocolate...

OOPs. I think I misunderstood the person's comment then. I've had that problem lately
It's not that Malaysia doesn't have bananas. There's no such thing as bananas covered in chocolate in Malaysia. That makes more sense. I really am dumb.
Sometimes, I worry about my brain. I hope it's not falling out.

That is something so very hard, I guess you could say a banana tastes sweet and a little tart at the same time, mixed with the chocolate, well... wow, that's not easy, you gotta know from experience, have to trust someone when they say "It's good"!!!
