We all know that a happy marriage can help with a lot of things. Such as, longevity, positive attitude, and many other things. Now scientist are also saying that a happy marriage can help one to sleep sounder at night. Tell me if you agree with this. Do you have trouble sleeping when you are at odds with your spouse? Or will you fall asleep regardless when you are tired enough?

Rozie_ I read the article. Isn't the same theory true for everyone? When you're happy and feeling calm within, married or not, a person sleeps better.
If I'm upset, I can't sleep.
I thought the article was a bit superficial. But, that's just me, maybe because I'm not married right now!
In the case of a marriage, it helps the relationship.
My dad used to tell me
"Never let the sun go down on an argument." Similar idea.

Well I will tell you this much, I have never been married either and I toss and turn a lot, all night. I have a strong feeling that a happy marriage would change all of that. I believe that some people want to be married more than others and some may not want to be married at all.

Rozie, I'm not going to fight you on this one, but I think a person has to be happy before they get married. It puts pressure on the person we marry if we expect them to bring happiness to us.
I get your point, though. Some people do like marriage and some don't. But, we can't go looking for marriage to provide happiness. Completeness if that's a word.
A marriage might make a person feel fulfilled and satisfied.
