1. creationsbyrobin (1160) | 4 months ago | Yea, sometimes I do. After being on thesites for awhile, you see many of the same ads over and over again. Those would be the ones I just click to another open browser. But I do come across ads that catch my eye and quite often I'll read the ad and sometimes click for more info. (I like money and I'll often consider another stream of income, if it makes sense for me) There's one ad I saw several times before finally checking it out (someone on myLot had a thread about it and I finally looked into it) I wish I looked into it a lot sooner, it's now one of my favorite sites.

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | yeah, I also feel the same when I see the same ads again and again. however, when a new ad appeared, if the offering was so convincing, I would be curious to check their FAQ. but sadly there were times when a scam site even showed up within the ads of PTC clicking page. so, I have not really looked into the ads nowadays, I would only click and then turn my focus to something else until the count down finished.

2. lilybug (8719) | 4 months ago | I don't always read them. A lot of the time I am multitasking while doing my PTC sites. Like right now. I have another tab open with a PTC ad in it while I am typing this response. I have no idea what the ad is. Other times I will actually read it.

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | yes, I do multitasking too when I'm doing my PTC site. there were times when I posted at myLot as I waited for the count down reaching to zero. mostly I no longer read the page of the ads, unless the title really grabbed my attention.

3. mentalward (1741) | 4 months ago | I used to belong to quite a few of them and would usually just wait for the 'count down'. I have since left many of them and only kept the ones that are more interesting and make the most money. These I generally read. MyPoints is a very cool PTC site that I always read. They give you 5 points for clicking, and most of the time will give you 25 to 2,500 points to join or buy whatever it is that they are promoting. They also have many, many stores that we all buy from occasionally, and give you 2 to 10 points per dollar spent at those stores. I have joined several of these things and, whenever I need to make a larger purchase, like furniture or something, I'll check MyPoints to see if they have a sponsor furniture store with what I want (like Overstock.com). The points are converted into 'gift cards' which you can spend at any of over 70 stores online or in-store (WalMart, Walgreens, Spencer Gifts, 1-800-Flowers, etc.). I've already received about $600.00 in gift cards from them. I actually met my husband by joining a dating service that MyPoints offered! I got 25 points AND a husband! LOL I promote it whenever I can. I could make 200 points for everyone who joins under me, but I'm not here to make money off of my good friends at myLot. You can go to their site on your own and join, if you aren't already a member.

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | I have left many of PTC sites too. So far, I only keep one PTC site, and the only reason I keep it because it's still paying and pays quickly. I have requested the payout around 20 times and all have been paid. However the earning is small, but at least I have other earning source from other kind of GPT site. MyPoints sounds really interesting. Is it available to international people? I would like to check it out too. Would you mind PM me the site's URL? Thanks!:)

fluffysue (519) | 4 months ago | I don't know why I never thought of Mypoints as that type of site. I have belonged to Mypoints for years, and have gotten most of my points from shopping online. By doing all my holiday shopping through them, and joining some book & DVD clubs, I've done pretty well. Of course I didn't get a husband, that is quite a prize! LOL:) But I did just recently get $50 in Red Lobster cards and $25 at Starbucks, of course that is probably a year's worth of points though. It came in handy since I am taking some time off, and not spending money on things like that now.

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | exactly. there were times when the paid to click page displayed scam sites' ads, and the scam sites had been known widely by forum's participants. so sometimes I just felt annoyed, and the only reason I clicked was because my clicking was paid by my PTC, not because I want to visit those sites. when the count down was finished, I closed the page right away. so considering my own reaction towards such ads, I don't think I would use PTC sites to advertise my own site.

| 5. nickhow100 (7) | 4 months ago | you know i was wondering that same question only the other day! ive joined quite a few ptc sites myself and sometimes for me anyway, its hard to concentrate on doing them as i wonder, hold on a minute all these details you have to fill in if your interested in the actuall offer are not just to register you for the offer or whatever but are so the individual companys can also sell your details on to a mailing list company or send you other junk mail!! personally i read some of the adverts but ive seen so many that i can usually tell just by browsing what there all about, so i usually just let the countdown commence!!i carnt say ive really made any money out of it yet but thats probly cuz i get bored to quick and think stuff this there is gotta be a better way to make some money online!! and still searching now after quite a few years hehe feel like im in a time loop cuz end up seing the same old things ive seen before or end up joining the same things and think hold on a sec it wont let me join as its saying there already is a member with that name hehe!! crickey my memory must be going or im getting internet fatigue lol anyway waffling on now and going of the point, so everyone say hello to me as im brand spanking new hear and this is just my second comment, so any tips for the money making on hear then feel free to let me know!! cheers, nick

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | hi nick! I have also been bored with the clicking because I saw approximately the same ads again and again. plus, there were times when scam sites even had their ads rotated in the paid to click page. somehow it was just irritating. anyway, I only keep one PTC so far, I have left most of them. compared to myLot and paid to post sites, PTC earning is no worth if we have no referrals. plus, we would easily get bored. earning by posting is more fun, because at least there would be interaction with humans, and we get a lot of input and information exchange. so, welcome to myLot. I hope you will enjoy your time here and earning as well!:)

mentalward (1741) | 4 months ago | Hi nick. Welcome to myLot! This is an awesome place to be and, from what I've heard, you can make pretty good money here! All you need to do is post, post, post, and make sure they are good quality posts with useful information. Also, get referrals, if you can. (It's hard to do that, I know!) Upload pictures; when people respond to your pictures, you get paid. I mentioned MyPoints because I love getting those gift cards in the mail! I almost always get mine for WalMart since they seem to have the best price for everything and I can even buy groceries there. As far as junk mail goes, there are a few PTC sites that have advertisers that grab your IP address and send junk mail, but myLot and MyPoints I can definitely vouch for... they're honest and you can depend on their advertizers not sending you any junk mail from just clicking on the link. I used to do legal transcription online from a company in Texas. Medical and legal transcription are almost always available, as long as you know how to do it. I worked for a place called SpeakWrite for years and they paid excellent money. I only stopped last year because we were moving and my mom died at the same time, so it was a very emotional and busy time in my life. While you're here, though, have a great time! MyLot is a really cool family to have. Most of us are "hooked". LOL I hope you'll join us in the 'Addicted to myLot Family'. Again, welcome!

6. cuddleme01 (1729) | 4 months ago | Most of the time I don't read them. I just click and click and click. But PTR/PTC programs are slow money makers. It will take eternity for you to reach a certain amount. However if you have plenty of referrals you can make cashing out much faster but getting referrals is another big problem.
| |
| |
|
|
bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | yeah. mostly I won't read them any longer. when the count down has reached the zero, I would close the page right away without any interest in reading them further. that's one of my reason to not advertise my site in PTC ads. and you're right about the slow money making in PTC, unless having a lot of referrals. personally I would rather earn from posting than clicking. in PTC I would only see ads, and I would get bored, in paid to post sites, I can interact with people and exchange information and insight. not to mention, the different gap of earning rate, especially for someone who has difficulty in getting referrals.

bongkarpasang (1134) | 4 months ago | yeah, the eye catching ads might get our attention, but usually it would be new sites, otherwise, if we have ever seen it, no bother to check it out any longer and I would also switch to other browser's tab and wait for the countdown to end to zero.:)
