Hi I am interesting in my son starting this sort of sport when he is older, obviously not at the moment as he is only 2 years old lol and i doubt they would have him lol (only jokin) but on a serious note he has a lot of anger and a temper to match so i was thinking maybe a sport of this kind would help release this, i dont mean fighting or anything like the sort just the actual training. I am a big wrestling fan myself and think it would be a good athletic sport to get into also boxing too so any ideas on the age limits and also organisations here in the uk would be great. thanks for reading.

Our Sabunim had his 2 year old son training. Now the kid is 22 and can leap over a car and smash a concrete blocks. He started him out really light. Basically all technique. By the time he was 8 he was teaching the class. I had long left for studies but last I heard he started his own dojo.

After a little research I found that the youngest age in the UK was 9. I could be wrong you would have to ask a local, preferably trusted, trainer for the true answer.

I started training in a cotact sport like boxing when I was around 7 years old but now, I completely forgot all of those that I have learned. I guess if you'll start your kid that early, be sure he'll remember it as he grows up. God bless you, your kid and all your loveones as well
