Tons of music edition phones have been released... Which do you think is better, Nokia or Sony Ericsson? Which do you think is of better quality? or in terms of other features and durability? I've recently had my hands on a W580i, and I'm satisfied with the product. The music quality is really good. Got my thumb up for Sony Ericsson.

There's no doubt that Sony Ericsson takes the lead in term of sound quality. They are much advance compare to others. Just imagine your cellphone can sound like your mini hi-fi when you connect it to small special design speaker made for Sony Ericsson. I check on some Sony Ericsson, they use small capacitor like the one that used in radio or television. And I did try to use Nokia speaker to Sony Ericsson cellphone and vice versa, it just doesn't work. Nokia cellphone needs additional ic to increase the output power to support Sony Ericsson speaker, but Sony Ericsson speaker just too big for Nokia cellphone.

I like sony ericsson. no other phone has got the sound clarity that sony ericsson have. Nokia may have a loud sound but their clarity is low. se is also user friendly . they have all their settings in one area but nokia has got settings all over the phone. nokia is only good it low end phones.

I somehow prefer Sony phones for music. Sony invented the walkman and their sound technology seems better. I also prefer sony for their looks. Nokia is more sturdy and also more user-friendly in mobiles though.
