I don't have any flowers this year. But it sounds like you have a plant called an annual. Which means they bloom on a annual basis.

Sorry to say, you are mistaken! Annuals grow from seed and bloom the first year they are sprouted from seed. They have short life span, and bloom continuosly once they start! That is the reason they are heavy feeders, and need a steady supply of nutrients to support all the energy for continuous bloom. Kind of like kids, isnt it?! Biennials grow from seed the first year and only bloom the second season after the plant establishes itself. Perrineals of course, once established return from dormant roots or bulbs, or tubers to bloom every year. They are hardy in cold weather winters, lying dormant until spring!.

Thats certainly beautiful.Well,in my house,we have roses and hibiscus only. Also, one thing that came to my mind when I read your post was the teachings of Nature.Nature is constantly teaching us something new or something thats important. In this case,Nature shows the fruitfulness of patience which we don't usually follow in our lives and jumping into hasty conclusions and later regretting it. And by the way, gardening is something that also helps to destress us and gives us fragrance of happiness in troubled times. When we see the garden which we have reared, there is some sort of joy in us. Cheers! Have a good day Happy gardening.

Nice photo, it is beautiful. The only thing I have is roses. I have three red rose bushes and a pink rose bush. I have been contemplating planting some flowers in front of my place, but I get so busy come spring I never get around to it...lol. As the great procrastinator I am, I will say ....maybe next year...lol.

I have a tree and some bushes in my garden, which has grown up in the past ten years. At the back yard, my mother bought some rose plants in her eighties, which gives good views from time to time. Now she is in the nineties, and we often joke with her that the roses are well, she is well. The little efforts we gave us unexpected rewards. And the plants in the communities are growing into tremendous rich shelters. We cannot do without a pleasant natural environment. We love plants, and we must protect plants.
