for me if i will have a child who wants to be an activist i think i will never allow him/her to join it because he/she will only waste his/her time on that instead to enjoy life with his/her friends and normal life.its dangerous for someone to join this.

There's nothing wrong in participating for a good cause. I would rather support my child to be an activist for the good of the community and the society rather than see him with a bunch of punks. Our children must learn and be aware of the social issues to make them a good citizen and value life. Even if we don't join those protests, we face dangers in our everyday life so better do it with a good cause.

If he is 18 years old and older, I would. My husband and I are both graduates of UP and rallies and demonstrations has been a part of our lives.
