how to exercise ur leadership?

As a leader in any type of environment, you cannot exercise your right to tell anyone what to do or how to do it, if you are not willing to get down beside them and do it yourself. People earn the title of bossy when they have not earned the respect of the people they are in charge of. For example, if you work in the housecleaning department of a hotel, would you respect the boss who goes into rooms and cleans as well when it is warranted by lack of staff or the need for speed, or the boss who simply sits at their desk doing nothing while you are scrubbing the toilet. People in a position of responsibility need to remember that if they won't do it themselves, the chances of their employees willingly doing it without question are nil.
