Whats wrong that will make people want to suicide?

I've attempted suicide many times and know others who have also. Everyone has their own reasons and at the time the reasons seem good enough to them. Many, many people have a chemical imbalance in their brain causing them not to think right and be more depressed than most people would ever know and they feel suicide is the only way out of their problems.

there are numerous reasons a person would want to, attempt to and actually commit suicide but IMO they ALL boil down to severe depression...I've attempted suicide, I've lost family and friends to suicide and none of them did it becuase they had nothing better to do ya know...all of us were severely depressed..In my case if I'd NOT told my husband (and the only reason I did was because I hit a snag in my plans) and gotten help right away I woudlnt be here right now...And if I ever go off my meds it will happen....Unfortunately there are suicidal ppl out there who DON'T have someone to go to or are SO INTENSELY depressed to them its the only way out.....

Many ppl think suicide is a cowardly act, its not..its actually far too complex to be as far as I'm concerned...and many ppl also either don't realize or tend to forget that suicide can often be an act of love AND suicidal ppl DO NOT see life and the world like others do..for us our minds see and we feel things completely upside down and backwards...What is right and logical to you makes no sense to us..

yes I have wanted to kill myself many times

I am an ex benzo user and i would try to kill myself when i was coming off of them... I really do not know why though It would just make me sad and I was so out of it i would decide to kill myself i obviously was not successful thankfully I am so happy to be alive.

Thank God for all you people who 'have been' there but survived and are here today. I think that most people who get suicidal are just really sensitive souls and drink of life deep. Thus they experience very complex emotions which can often be too much to bare. I think if someone has never even felt suicidal for a second then there's something amiss with them.....they lack a depth and are very superficial people.... I think the best of heroes and people have at least one time in their life...."I can't take this anymore".

A feeling of contentness/complacency can actually stunt our growth, there's always ways to improve things around us and its only when we experience pain does change happen.
