Something special I did early today before mylot...

I'm so happy today!! I find sometime to do my cross stitch project. Its almost finish and I'm excited to see it framed.
Cross stitching is my no.1 hobby. 2nd is mylot. I have finished several designs already. They are framed and hangs in our house.
Like mylot I also earn money from cross stitching. People pay me to sew for them. I can also make photo stitch patterns. They are patterns from pictures of real people and I stitch them too. Usually I make photo stitches from weddings and children's pictures. But now its mylot time for me and am looking forward to having a good discussions with you guys.
How about you? Have done something special early today before mylot?

Wow, that's really beautiful! I don't do as much cross stitch as I used to before I got a computer many years ago. I once entered something I did into our county fair and won a ribbon. But, after that, I never managed to get anything for my work. Most of my cross stitching is of landscapes that look like paintings. I may take it up again as it's a really good way to relax. But, I got into crochet and am working on some really large projects.

Thank you for admiring my cross stitch! I really love that piece I made. It's one of my best works. I entered that once into a competition but it never won. My piece was 1 point away from 3rd place. I was really sad that time but its ok. At least I experienced joining a contest and my loss never stopped from doing cross stitch. I love to do designs from Mirabilia.
You do crochets? Thats nice. I like to do crochets but I never learned how. I've tried many times but I always fail. I can only do chain stitch. (funny ha..) That's one of my frustrations in crafting and sewing.

Wow I think that that is so very beautiful, and so great in detail! I think it would be great for use at a wedding, and I hope I can make one like that, if not cross stitch then crochet! Very beautiful!
