Hi ! i have read a few sayings about this great saint. My husband has all eight volumes of his works, but i haven't had time to read them.
He was a great soul , who worked for the upliftment of masses of India. Few words of mine would not be sufficient to describe this great personality. I suggest you should read his volumes.
Regards.

Hello ramyashree,
I have read a lot of books of Swami Vivekananda. His words are perspicacious and have a profound effect on any individual listening to. Swami Vivekananda is the pride of India, a priceless gem of a saint who is admired by millions of Indians (including me) even today.
The last I read of Swami Vivekananda was a collection of his letters titled "Letters Of Swami Vivekananda", addressed by swamiji to his friends, disciples, brethren etc. It was a fantastic read, it was like reading off a piece of his beautiful mind. I find his ideas, writing and principles very lofty and life elevating, it is no wonder that he rose to such immense popularity in such a short life span.
Besides, I have also his book on Rajayoga wherein he has revealed some astounding secrets and information on the human mind, its mastery and effectiveness. It was an enthralling experience.
