| Miss_Wasabi (3) | 1 year ago | Her new album, Flavors of Entanglement, was released a couple of weeks ago. I think she hasnt released a new album in about thirteen years or so... I discovered my existential angst through alanis when I was a teenager.
I guess I just wanted to hear what everyone else thought about her new sound..
The preorder album on itunes has over twenty songs mostly bonus tracks.
My fave for the moment, it changes frequently, is straitjacket and Its a*itch to Grow Up..
The lyrics are compelling as usual and beautifully succinct..
I will always love her music.. and I think her new sound is growing on me.. | |

| | | 3. Alnitak (212) | 1 year ago |  Finally she's back with an album I like. I just hated "So Called Chaos" and "Under Rug Swept". Now in this album she made some songs that we could have found in "Supposed former Infatuation Junkie" and I really like it. You have to buy the 2cd edition because in the second one there are 4 great songs out of 5.
Lyrics are great but this we know... I don't understand why they choose "Underneath" as first single because it's like one of the worst songs in it and other track sound totally different.
I think Guy Sigsworth made a great job and I hope they'll work together again.
I really like "Citizen of the planet", "Not As We", "Limbo no more" and most af all "Tapes".
