Spaghetti & Meatballs  | | So I'd like to make some good homemade meatballs for spaghetti. I normally just use the ground beef and brown it when I make spaghetti. I add a lot of bell peppers, onions, mushrooms etc to have a pretty hearty sauce. I'd like to take it to a simpler style with just the traditional meatballs in a marinara sauce. Does anyone have any good meatball recipes. I have found a few on foodnetwork.com but I'd love some input from anyone who does this regularly. Thanks guys!

Use 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 1/4 cup italian breadcrumbs, dried oregano and basil to taste. Garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. 2 teaspoons olive oil or 1 egg. I combine all together and then form the meatballs. I fry in a pan until they are browned and then pour Prego sauce on top. Serve with spaghetti. If you have leftover meatballs you can meatball sandwiches with this too! Enjoy!

I'll take a look and let you know. Spagetti and Italian dishes are some of my family's favorites and I'm always cooking them. Most times I make my own sauce as it's healthier and I control the sodium and ingredients.
