 Do you like it wheh visitors turn up at your home without giving you advanced notice? In some countries it seems to be a no, no...but in my country it is no big deal and visitors are always warmly welcomed and given something to eat and drink.

That is one of the reasons I learned as a child to alwasy keep the house clean because we never know who will come visiting that day. also since my mother had a big family who lived in another part of the country and they always came to stay by here when they travel, she made sure that the hosue was always neat and clean.
Like you I am not a very social person, I like my peace and quiet, so if I find myself aloen with guest, I ask if they want something to eat or drink and try to make small talk praying that whoever they come to see will eb home soon. | |

2.  Lindalinda (2222) | 3 months ago |  I don't like it when people drop in unanounced. It was ok. years ago when not every one had a phone. Now there are phones, e-mail, text messaging and cell phones. So there is no excuse. I am not very socialble myself and very untidy by nature so drop in guests might find a mess, also I shop just for the minimum so I may not have anything to offer except maybe tea.

However, in metros, things have changed and people do not like nor entertain unannounced Visitors.
