Are you using the rating system?

Are you using the +/- rating system for responses? From what I've read on the FAQs, this one of the ways that myLot uses to determine our earnings - from how others value our responses. Do you rate other's responses when you thing they're good? What would be a reason that you rated a response negatively?

I don't think it is going to affect your earnings so i don't rate by +/- in response. I will check it out.

The way I read in the FAQs is that you won't yourself benefit from rating someone else's post, but when we rate another's post positively, it helps their earnings. Therefore, if we are to positively rate each others responses when we feel they are good responses, we benefit each other.

Hi, I will rate "+" to mylotters. I never rate "-". If I don't like the responses or comments, I will just leave.

From what I read of myLot's guidelines, they don't intend the use of - if we don't necessarily agree with someone's point of view, but rather if we deem the quality of the post to be poor - I'm not sure just when that would be.

I have never used the rating system, it has not call to mind to do this. Now that I know the impact i has on ratings I will surely be using it now.
