in my quest of my passion and happiness in my profession, i am undergoing numerous exams and interviews with different companies. i have encountered several odd questions and there are challenging and funny ones. but the most common questions that i have encountered in almost all of them are these:

how do you see yourself now?
how do you see yourself in five years? (or in 10 years)
what are your goals in the long-run?

if you were to answer these questions, how would you approach them? or how can you express yourself without sounding too laid-back or too intense in life? (i am also asking for tips on how to relax and how to appear as accommodating and pleasant as possible, you can add them all here!)

sometimes, it's hard to face tough recruitment since they are all a matter of perception and first impressions, 'coz their are seldom 2nd interviews on the same person. so you really have to be careful with what you say otherwise you might blow everything in the wrong direction - which I presumed is something you don't want to happen.

thanks (",)

Here's some examples of how you might answer these in your pursuit of a career:

(1) How do you see yourself now? Right now since I am in the job market, I feel a bit of a challenge. Although, it is exciting at the same time. It is amazing to see what different fields (or companies) I may venture into with my educational background.

(2) How do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years? If you plan on having children, this may be a time to put them in the picture. Or if you already have children you can include this. People like to hear about family, because most people have family of their own that they enjoy. You should also mention career goals such as working your way up in your field and possibly mention being with the same company for 5/10 years by that time.

(3) Goals...? Only you can answer this. If I were to answer, it may sound something like owning 2 properties free and clear. Traveling a large portion of the country and being semi-retired.

Hope that these may help you in your brainstorming and interview preparation! Good luck to you!
