Elvis Presley

I haven't seen many Elvis movies but I've liked the ones I've seen. I like him better when he was younger too. I'm kinda young so I don't remember Elvis when he was alive, but I used to listen to oldies radio stations all the time when I was little so I've heard a lot of his songs.

Yes! I love Elvis! I have seen all his movies and thought he had the most beautiful voice. Elvis was as beautiful a person inside and out. If someone wanted a car or needed one he would buy them a cadillac even if it was a stranger. He had such a big heart! He had so many hit songs and loved to sing gospel songs as well. He was before my time however his music is timeless! He had the most wonderful smile. I love watching the documentaries of Elvis and the home movies of him and his family. I think he was at his best when he had his comeback concert in 1968. Unfortunately Elvis was very naive boy and just a sweet kid from the South who loved his mother. People took advantage of his kindness and genorosity. He had a terrible manager who did not promote him well. Nonetheless he was successful in Las Vegas for many years but by that time he had become a victim. He was a very heavy drug user and this is what killed him. I would love to visit Graceland in Memphis and see all the artifacts in his mansion. Tons of people visit it each day. Ex-wife Priscilla Presley and his daughter Lisa Marie have made the Elvis Estate a lot of money since he died. Elvis has influenced a lot of musicians including the Beatles. I still love listening to his music. He was a great performer and a wonderful human being!

Unfortunately, Elvis started popping pills early in his career. Some say that he started while he was in the Army to stay awake. It's a shame that he died without ever getting off them.

I grew up in Memphis Tennessee and visited graceland many times. It is the best around Christmas time when they string up blue lights. It was amazing to see all the people from foreign countries come to see his house. My mother adored him.
