No braces but the closes to that is a retainer. I wore one when i was young and it was a pain. With the rubber bands and all; I don't think that I had to wear it but a year or too. I know that people that have to wear braces don't have it easy. They look like they hurt but just remember when it's all over with. There will be a beautiful smile when the work is done. Have a good one.

They are like braces but instead of tracks you have a single line with hooks in certain places for rubberbands. They work just like braces but the rubber bands do the work. The closes thing that I can place them to is like false teeth but a wire with an inner mouth roof that fits in the mouth. The cool thing about them is that it can be remove and put back in. I hope i have explained it well.

Oh gosh yes...I had braces when I was much younger and I do remember them being painful...first I had just what was called a night brace...a weird wire contraption that I was supposed to wear while I slept...hardly ever did, as I couldn't sleep with it on, then a retainer...then I got the heavy metal braces. With all that work done to my teeth though, after awhile my teeth began separating again. My dentist actually suggested to get braces put on again and said no way...I was so happy to get them off.

i have ,that's five years ago,and i had to pull out 4 healthy teeth,very ach,that was only begining,tne most uncomfortabal was the time you when you hang the elastic,oh god,in the night ,you can not sleep,and in the morning you will find that the pillow wetted by your saliva!that's funny.
