I think the world is really waiting for the opening which is always a closely guarded secret. I think china will really surprise us because they hae the capacity to do it.

Hello dear lilaclady. Thanks for the link and I clicked to see it to find that it is really wonderful with those sculptures made of ice. For sure you can watch the opening ceremony of the approaching Beijing Olympics in fifty days on TV. I am also looking forward to the arrival of that day.

Are you seriously going to see this? Its gorgeous! I would die to see something as beautiful as that. It takes true artistry to pull something as wonderful as that off. Time flies, to think that last 4 years I've been joking with my friends to have a trip together to China for the Olympics lol. Now, it's happening in less than 2 months time! Phewww.. So excited!

Breath taking. It is amazing to me that anyone could create such beauty from ice. It is no surprise to me that it was in China though. I love their ability to create beautiful things.

Yeah, I've seen other Olympic openings in the past and

they were mostly fabulous. It would be interesting to see

what China has in store for the world to view.

I'm looking forward to watch that segment of the Olympic!
