Let's get rid of the Electoral College NOW before the November elections!!!

Personally, I am not too sure how this would benefit anyone by only doing a petition online, and it there is enough time for it to count before the November Election, but it would be nice if they could do away with all these small things like this, and make it just the People who vote votes count the most, and let nothing else interfere. It makes you sort of wonder when you Vote and the person you vote for ends up loosing just because of the Electorial College votes. It makes you almost wonder and think "Why Vote?"
