My fiance and I were talking today about a friend's wife and how she has bipolar disorder. My fiance also has a brother that has Bipolar Disorder and she says that she believes there is a difference between a male and a female in bipolar disorder. Do you know anyone with this disorder, and if so do you think that there is a difference between the two genders? We have talked about the actions of her brother vs. the actions of my friend's wife. Can you list symptoms of the disorder and who you feel is more prone to have the symptoms (male or female)? Any other information you may feel regards this discussion in any way will also be greatly appreciated. If you have any more information on the symptoms and / or have a bipolar spouse then please share any experiences you have.

I do think that there is a difference between your friend's wife and my brother and bipolar disorder. I can't be certain what exactly this pertains to as there are so many different symptoms I have read and seen from my brother. I hope that we do get a bit more information on it because anything will be helpful in understanding what the difference is and I'd love to hear experiences. Have a Great day.
