1800 numbers not so free after all

I dont really know why, but it looks to me like we are getting riped off by this companies. Another question is, do the companies that have this service know this? since now day people use their cell phone more than anything, and I know a lot of cell phone users do not know this. so what is the purpose of any company to have such service. lastly does our governmental have notice this???

Ah! I did little search on ask.com I have a straightforward reason with no furhter explanation. On the web site "911phone.net/p0000003.htm" buried way down on the page is a paragraph explaining this. All it says is that cell phone companies charge for air time and that the cell phone customer has to pay for air time including 800 numbers. I think it would take a lot of public out cry to change this just like when cell phone companies would not let you carry your old phone number if you changed carriers. Lots of public complaints got congress moving.

I see good information, so we got it get it moving then and boycott this, because honestly is false advertisement plus no company has ever made this public. This is just a trap just like the customer support agent told me, with the purpose of taking our money. I really find this disappointing since we are suppose to be an example for the world, and yet we are letting this happen.
