A Fistful of vouchers

I had some post through the door on Saturday, OK yes I know not unusual get on with it. Well in it was what looked like junk mail and I was not going to open it, just destroy it and get rid. Only for some reason I decided to open it. How pleased was I that I did, for in it were vouchers for day trips to places to get the kids in free!
Now, I have four kids, but one is classed as adult now and does not come with us much anyway. But the other three are young and so we have to pay for them which as you all know can cost a fortune. Well these vouchers mean we can have three good days out to places and only pay for me and hubby!
I am really pleased because we cannot afford to do much this year and we are not able to have another holiday but now we can have three good days out when the kids break up from school! Plus one of my boys has a birthday in August that falls on a Saturday so it is the perfect thing for us to do for him!
Do you ever manage to get hold of vouchers for days out or free tickets?

Oh that is wonderful news I be you are so pleased that you didn't just throw it. I know how expensive these places can be to take the kids to. I always save money off vouchers for everything and it all adds up eh! Saturday mornings post bought me a surprise too, an unexpected cheque so I will be off to bank in the morning he, he. Might be able to make a start on the garden soon. Ellie :D

wow that is awesome. It always makes me happy when I get something free or something that will help me be able to do fun things. I am so happy that this has happened to where you and your family can enjoy your summer a little more. I have not gotten any free tickets for things like that. I have gotten buy on get one free on a meal. That helped me and hubby have a date night. I have gotten free samples and products through the mail. I love those freebies. Have a great time and enjoy those activities.

Thank you, it will mean we can have a bit of fun now. I have never had any free meals though, that sounds good!

Hello, that is awesome surprise receiving some free vouchers, I know how expensive it can be to go to places when you have big family. I hope you have a great day out with the kids.
This weekend I had a friend come and stay over so that was the best thing that came through my door this weekend. We had a great weekend. We went to the Tavern for a few drinks, then went out to lunch and then went shopping.

I never do get any of the vouchers, but I am so proud that you did.. Necessity is the mother of invention, so you just keep up the good work and keep using your brain, it makes that dollar go so much farther.. Good going and have tons of fun with he kids.. Donna

Thank you, it is just nice to know that we will be able to have a few full days out when the kids break up for the summer hols in a few weeks.
