Diamond Rio is coming to our hometown for the:  

that's cool that Nashville has that high on the favoritism of the fireworks show on the 4th. We go to Rogersville City Park every year to watch the show. usually we just go out to the highway and park the car by the road near the Burger King entrance, and sit there and watch the fireworks. But, this year we're going to be down there at the park watching Diamond Rio perform for the night. my b/f said that hehe we was going to get up early and go down there for the evening and sit there at the park with our lawn chairs and wait till about 10PM that night for Diamond Rio. we're going to try to get as close to the stage as we can, to see them perform really well. :) which will be pretty cool IMO since I have never seen anybody perform in concert only but twice in my life. and that was 38 special in Kingsport Tennessee at their Fun Fest, and Foreiner in Kingsport also at the Fun Fest.
I went with my b/f those years, and we saw them in concert there. before i got with him, i never have went to a concert before. so, it'll be like my third time going to one to Diamond Rio's concert. :)
We have a lot of concerts coming up for the month of July b/c Fun Fest will be coming and starting in the mid of July in Kingsport, which is about 15 minutes, (the way my b/f drives) to get to the J. Fred Johnson Stadium. every year we go to this Fun Fest in kingsport. it is kind of like a community fair get together for the city of Kingsport.
and they have live bands there on some nights, and different activities there also for the children and the grown-ups. he said that it's been here for since back in the 80s and still going strong. we don't know who is going to play in Kingsport this year for the fun fest. but, i'm going to hae him to check out the fun fest website online when he gets up. do you all have anything like that in your hometown Rhonda? It's cool that some places have that you know? You get to mingle out with people, and enjoy yourself and just have a good time. LOL

but, this is what goes on throughout the whole week of Fun Fest. it's a good time too. I enjoy it when it comes now since I've been with my b/f and him taking me to it every year.

and check out all of the events there. just click on "Events" button, and than click on the dates they have. I'm there looking at it now, and the "Alandale Mansion tour" we've went to before , i think. It's a very beautiful mansion dated back in the early 1700's i think.
