REAL ways to make money on the internet  

There are legit PTC sites out there, but I understand what you mean about your scanner...Mine says everything is fine on my computer, and still I receive weird errors. Oh well. That's part of what I'm trying to do here, debunk the scams, and let people know the legit. But it's a lot of trial and error, and I believe it will take me a year or so to really sift through them all...

It's sad to read your problems with 'rubbish'. I do not have this problem - maybe I'm lucky or maybe my AVG is doing a really darn good job.
I belong to lots of PTCs and am having fun doing them - especially when payments arrive as they did today (I've just updated my blogs). As the users above said it takes time but you get there with patience and effort.
I love MyLot too and I would not have done so well on PTCs had it not been for the many friends that have given so much advice on here about doing things the right way. I agree MyLot is fun, friendly and a mine of information.
