Do you consider rumors a big deal?why?

Rumors are everywhere..sometimes its really annoying to hear rumors especially if it's not true..when i was in highschool..i experienced to hear rumors about me which are definitely not true..deep inside i was affected of it,,,but i really showed that i was not affected so that it will just pass by..because i think if i will show that it's a big deal for me..then it will just take long.. and will spread and spread and there will already add ons..That's why for me it's better not to take it seriously especially if it's not true..^_^
