When was the last time you saw a rainbow?

Rainbow right outside my front door - This was a picture of a rainbow that occurred on June 23, 2008 in Joppa, Maryland.

We were lucky enough to see one last night. We had a very mini thunderstorm last night and then I saw the sun breaking through. I quickly ran downstairs, grabbed my camera, and went rainbow hunting I didn't have to go far, it was right across the street! It was not a vibrant one but it was still one!!!

WOW it has been a long time since I have seen a rainbow in the sky! I do see them in puddles after it rains, but they are AWESOME in the sky! lol Post the pictures :) ~Icy~

Hi Kimbers, Nope I have lots more to unpack. lol I was so sore and I was sick after we moved in, that I didn't do anything for the first week except food and we found the plates and cups. lol I did find my ring I thought I lost, it was packed away for 5 YEARS! lol

Lately we have been seeing alot of rainbows - really bright vivid ones. Even better, they have been full half circle rainbows - not just sections - and have even been double rainbows. As a parent I have been super excited and pointing them out to my children, expecially when we are in the car on long drives because I think it will be something to keep them entertained. Frustratingly though, my second youngest can never seem to see them and it makes her cry! I always joke with her that usually rainbows make people smile and not cry, but she doesn't seem to understand this one either! I have told my children about the story of the gold at the end of the rainbow, they are always looking to see if they can find it!

This one was the full half circle but with the trees it was very hard to see. That's a shame your daughter can't see them. I agree with you, that since I have become a parent I do find them more exciting also. When my girls and their friend came outside they were joking how it looked like it was ending in their friend's yard. They went to look for the leprachun but couldn't find him. LOL Thanks for the response.

Just 2 months ago, I had gone to my wife's native place which is on sea coast. On our visit to beach, it rained at 3 p.m. and there was also a sunshine. All of us could see the rainbow in full bloom. I had introduced two different discussions on rainbow a year ago which was well responded to.

we have been having really odd weather here in southern ontario canada for the month of june and we have seen a rainbow for a couple days now, i am sure the weather will get hotter soon, but now sure when. we have been getting a ton of rain lately!

Our weather has been crazy too, here in Maryland! We had summer first, then spring, and now we are back to summer. Who knows! Thanks for the response.
