Should I buy a new or used Xbox 360?  

In my experience it never "saves" you rally to buy something second hand because there is always a problem with used items.. if there wasn't then it would still be with its original owner, won't it?

When you say refurbished what do you mean?
Is it by a recognised company. If so I dont see the problem as they will usuakly give you a new warranty with the machine. I just recently bought an ipod that was refurbished and have had no problems at all. It came with a full years warranty.

so just do your homework about the seller

I haven't had a problem with any used gaming system I've bought as long as it's from a reputable source (a Game Stop or something similar.)

Just make sure that whichever one you buy was made after July of last year. I'm pretty sure that's when they started making 360s that have the modified heat sink that will keep it from overheating as quickly.

Just make sure if you get one used that you try it out within the period that they give you to return it. If something doesn't work, and you use it for a few days, you'll know. IF you find out early you can take it back and get a replacement.

trust me on this one buy a new 360 elite.. it has a new light weight battery, better wires, and a better fan... much better buy
