Dachshund's strange habits  | |  Does anyone out there have a miniature dachshund that rubs its neck on everything? Lol. Mine is obsessed and SHE also loves to hump everything. I try to explain to her that that is the boys job. Haha. Anyway, besides that, she is the best dog I have ever had! I love her to death and she gets treated like a little princess. I know for sure that all of you dachshund owners know what I mean when I say that a heater is no longer necessary when it comes to bed time!

My little Bogie shakes as if he's wet frequently. He also loves to rub his eyes and face on the carpet. Maybe your little one is just scratching her neck. As for the humping, she could be just looking for love!! My Bogie is fixed, so there is no humpng here.

If Cooper(male) is in her bed on her blanket she gets right by him and starts doing the humping thing. I think she is putting her scent there so he won't want to go there but it doesn't work. All I have ever had were Dachshunds..they are the best dogs!
