| Microsoft Access  | | | |  I have a friend making a database for a game I play. I downloaded it and tryed to start up, and get an error.
file is located outside of intranet or on untrusted site.
Copy to your location or accessible network location.
Please help.

Anyway i'll try again ... What form does the database take?
Is it a web-based one, or something which sits on an individual PC and runs with a standard GUI?
Access databases can reference additional files. Without these files on your local machine, the database may be unable to find them and not start.
Alternatively the database itself could be written solely for use on a specified Intranet/site and thus without access from your local PC it cannot determine the content.
You could try adding the relevant address to your trusted sites, but if it IS an intranet and your local PC has no access (no pun), it still won't work.
