why do you have fever when you get soak in the rain?

so why do you get fever when you get soak in the rain is it bcoz rain contains some chemical elements that dangerous to us or its just water that makes you cold but then why is it when you swim in the pool for such a long time you will not get a fever?

You get sick because your immune system was compromised. When your body gets wet like that it gets cold. Your body then tries to keep itself warm and doesn't have enough resources left to fight any germs that you are already in contact with. Then you get sick. That's what I was taught in school anyway.

Yes I do have a bf. We are planning to get married soon.
