How Do You Like To Watch A Movie?

When the hubby and I watch movies at night we have to have all the lights off in the apartment in order to watch it. I guess we enjoy it that way because it gives us that movie theater feel to it.
Also, I need to have it quiet and I don't like any background noise. I guess it's because it distracts me and when I watch a movie I like to put myself in that movie and if there's distractions it takes you right out of it. We love to discuss the movie as well and the actors. We do that often and get each others opinions on it...
When I'm watching a movie by myself it's usually a little diffrent and while I still like to have it quiet, sometimes
I will leave the lights on but most times I will still shut them off. If it's during the day it doesn't really matter as much. I guess because there's light coming from the windows.
What about you all, how do you like to watch your movies?

I like to watch movies alone, with homemade popcorn or brownies or oreo cookies in a bowl with a big mega cup of milk. I like the lights off so the captions are easily seen, also I love to have the living room to myself or in my bedroom. Though if you get a LCD tv it is way better pictures than the tube tvs.........and if you have a converter box it prob a good cheap way to update tv without the price.
Though most time I watch a movie with light on if parents around esp if they are just watching tv in the living room.

I like watching movies while snuggled up in bed or on the couch with a blanket. I don't know why, it just seems like that is the most relaxing way to enjoy a movie! I think that is better than going to a theatre which is usually cramped and crowded and you can't stop in the middle if you feel like getting up for a little while.

I definitely agree with you. I love to snuggle on the couch under a blanket and watch a movie as well. It's much more comfortable than at the theaters. However, every once in a while it's nice to go the theaters as well...

i watch movies like i watch other programs on tv. i will let the light on in the night. watching movies or other programs on tv with the light off hurts my eyes. but i like watching movies alone.

I pretty much watch movies the same way. I like it dark and quiet, with the volume of the movie turned up a little louder than normal if I'm with someone else. When I'm alone thought I like to keep the volume a little lower so I can hear the phone or the door or something.
