u know, in some countries, it's the dad that gives his new born baby a name, for me my name means a 'national bright future' i mean not XoyyoX (my nickname or mylot name), but my official name (...secret lol). do u know who named u? what does name mean originally? if u have a child, why did u give him/her that name? thx for ur response. regards to all of u.

My parents named me.It means 'forever' in my language.Well.I will name my child.............I will have to think about it.

Its true,I don't have a baby.I will prefer the name should be decided by my spouse,my parents are not going to take responsibility,as they had already taken it....In my country,the most popular name for girls is Aishwarya and for boys,its Rahul.

my sisters and i were named chronologically, i.e. our first names were taken from the second names of our previous/older sisters. example: rowena beatrice, beatrice ruth, ruth margaret, margaret rose, etc...
but i don't think i would name my children this way. it's sort of confusing. lol.
