Are dreams meant to be interpreted?

some people said that certain dreams are meaningful. but i don't usually bother my self by interpreting my dreams. for example, i three times dreamed the death of the mayor in my town, but he is still ok till now. but i do like to dream of flying on the air. it feels so real. i can feel the wind breezing my body, and i can control my speed, elevation etc. i love dreaming!

I think some, but not all, dreams are because we have something in particular on our minds, vcha_23, and they are the ones that are easy to interpret. For example, dreams where we are protecting our kids are self-explanatory, dreams of fighting bad guys can be because of difficulties at work, dreams where people look like friends but then turn into bad guys can mean that we don't know who we can trust and then there are the dreams where we have been doing something so repetitively that it is still on our minds while we are asleep. Others are so bizarre or jumbled that I don't think they have any meaning at all. I LOVE dreams where I fly through the air but the strange thing is, I usually SWIM through the air rather than fly, perhaps because that is something that is familiar to my brain, whereas flying isn't.

Actually we all dream every time we fall asleep. Sometimes we can remember them and others we can't. It's a natural state that the mind goes into as soon as we drift into REM sleep. I've tried to interpret the dreams that have freaked me out. And sometimes I have found little things that came true when I woke up.

i think they all have meaning, trying to tell you something and gear you towards the right path. follow your dreams like Dorothy followed the yellow brick road and see where it will lead you to. i think dreams come from the other side or other world the secular world and are quite spiritual in essence. so, dream, interpret, and follow...until u reach your destination...

I think that if you can remember your dream then it is worth interpreting. It is interesting to see what our brains interpret things as. Like the flying. Is it meant that we feel free. Can we soar above our problems or people hurting us. I have a lot of these types of dreams. Many times I am flying and dancing at the same time. I feel so happy at those times.

hey...im a gr8 dreamer..n hv had d whackiest of dreams...i have dreamt that after a day at d carnival..i realize that i m actually dead...m just a spirit!!!i have had strangest of all dreams...sometimes i try interpreting...but other tyms i dnt c ne sense in dem!!!!!i just take it as a good n relaxing xperience...sometimes we dream of things we fear most....like wen i ws shifting schools in 3rd grade..i dreamt that aliens were grabbing me..n i ws pleading them 2 leave me..so that i cud go 2 my new skul!!!!wen i ws in 11th grade..i ws scared of isolation...i dreamt all my frnds were badge holders in school....xcept me!!!my biggest fear is alzheimers!!!1gosh..i sumtyms jus cant believe my dreams....but its an awesome experience..and u shunt tk all f dem literally....
