Have you ever encountered a Shadow person?

I never have, but my mother has. According to her, when she was six years old, she was sleeping with my grandparents. She said she woke up at one point during the night and she could see a "man" standing at the foot of the bed staring at her. She said she couldn't see anything but the form of a man. She told my grandparents but apparently they didn't see anything. You want to know what's interesting? My mother has no idea what a Shadow Person, but with the way she describes the whole thing it's obvious what she's referring to.
