Ok so I want to move in August but I am not sure where to move. I would need low income housing and in a safe and beautiful area. I was looking into Florida, Maryland, South Carolina or anywhere along the east coast but was wondering what nice areas their are. I would like to move somewhere where their are places to go shopping, resturants, museums and employment opportunities. Any suggestions?

hi, good luck to your plan of moving. Yes, in this days, almost all people are looking for place that has a low cost of living. I have a relative in North Carolina few friends too and they said, the cost of living there is lower compared to some states you mentioned. Of course you said South Carolina.. that is still low cost of living too.. Well, even if I;m not in the US but Most people said. North & South Carolina are good places to live. Housing are cheap and all others compared to other states. Good luck!!!

But you have to be aware of the hurricanes that North and South Carolina get every year! They can be mild to devastating. None yet as bad as Katrina, but they've had some whoppers!

Low income housing in a safe and beautiful area? Not many of them around! You don't want Maryland! I just moved away from Maryland last year. I was born and raised there. It is a beautiful place, generally speaking, but it's also a very expensive State, overall. There is low income housing, but those areas are really dangerous, crime-wise. I currently live in Virginia. It is a beautiful state... actually it's a Commonwealth. The air is cleaner than in Maryland because Virginia is an agricultural state. My son bought a home not far from me in Winchester, Virginia for only $35,000.00, total! Is is a mobile home, but is in a beautiful area where he pays rent for the ground which is kept extremely nice and is a very safe place to live and raise children. Winchester has a mall, a museum, a university, and just about any kind of employment and entertainment you can think of. Of course, there are many, many other places in Virginia that are just as beautiful with affordable housing (depending on your definition of "affordable"). The closer you get to Richmond, the more job opportunities there are. I hope this helps. I just love Virginia!
