After the Sumpere Court decision Obama quickly stated the people have the right to gun ownership, but let us see want his record says about gun ownership.
While an Senator from the state of Illinois he voted against a bill that would have protected a gun owner who used his gun in self defense from fines and destruction of his two guns.
Also as a State Senator he voted against a bill that would allow residents to use self-defense as a basis for seeking dismissal of criminal charges stemming from local gun ordinances if they used the banned weapon in an act of self-defense in their home, business or property.
He voted against legislation was specifically crafted for sporting events and allowed a non-resident participating in a sanctioned competitive shooting event in Illinois to purchase a shotgun or shotgun ammunition in Illinois, but only at the site where the event is being held, for the purpose of participating in the event.
What has Obama voted for well he voted for the same bill that the Sumpere Court ruled unconstitutional.
He voted for a bill that would limit law obiding citizen to be able to buy only one gun a month.
Please explain that Obama?

I think people should be very attentive to blogs and such and they will be amazed at how many times obama has changed his position. The truth is we do not know enough about him except we do know that he will raise taxes and do nothing about drilling for oil where we know there is oil. He says the oil companies won't explore the land they have well who would waste time on that when they could drill in anwar or north dakota where they absolutely know there is oil and what quality the oil is!!

He can't. He thinks what he says won't be repeated, what a dolt. I think he really believes that he's the messiah, he's a movie star, a popular person because the current pres is not. Time and words will show what kind of person he really is. A lib with a big government agenda.
