why is the grass green and the sea blue

Interesting thoughts for sure, and I am sure there are many who have wondered this as well. But in reality, just as someone else has stated here, it is all due to Gods creation and him being in charge of what happens when. He could have chosen different colors for these things, but he knew what was best when choosing the colors, so that is how they are to be. Personally, we wouldn't want to live in something like a Cartoon world would we?
