Have you been to Hong Kong? What attracted you to visit HK?  | |  We went to Hong Kong to be like kids.. we went to HK Disneyland, feeling young again.It's nice climate compared here in the Phils.. I prefer that kind of climate than melt in heat and feeling exhausted most of the time. There you can managed to walk a long way because no sweat at all. But of course it's hard to be outside on the December evening, it's so cold. Maybe I can say that the recreation facilities is what I like since there's no Disney Phils. How about you, what attracted you to visit Hong Kong?

I like it and it is so nice. I like Hong Kong because of two things, shopping and food. Hong Kong is a nice place for shopping. They have so many brands and choices for shopping. I also like their food. Food is always available in Hong Kong, no matter what time is it. The best thing about Hong Kong, their shops open until 11 pm. I have a long hours to shop and don't need to worry about the time.

| | | 2. xushanna (67) | 6 months ago |  Ive been to Hong Kong many times. What makes Hong Kong attractive for me is simply shopping. They've got so many fashionable shops not found here in Manila so you can buy unique clothes not found here. Also one of the most exciting thing about Hong Kong is you can shop till midnight, yes some of their shops are open till 12 mn, but then some of the shops also open as late as 3 pm. It doesnt matter though coz u can always do your tour in the morning and spend shopping in the evening.
My favorite shopping place in HK would be in Mong kok for shoes and gadgets, Tsim sha tsui for clothes and accessories and causeway bay bec. thats where H&M is.

See, Hong Kong has always been known as a shopping destination. Thing is, I'm not so much of a shopper. but man oh man...When I did get to Hong Kong I was sallivating over the sneakers and gadgets available to those who could buy!
So if ever I'd return to Hong Kong, it would be the shopping places I'd be taking aim at!

| | 4.  myclique (111) | 3 weeks ago |  what i love about hong kong is the ease in getting from one place to another. they have detailed maps that even a newbie traveler (which i was last year)can use to go around on her own. they understand english (even if its hard to understand them sometimes) enough that a non-cantonese/mandarin speaking person can communicate without any problems. also, one can get from one kind of tourist spot to another in just a short time because of the mtr and their ferries.
