A room with a view

I have large window in my room facing west and which overlooks a park. Sunset when I get to see it on weekends over the tree line of the park and chirping away of the birds gets me into a blissful state of mind almost like I'm floating. As the sun then sets and the chirping comes down, the sound of the traffic and horns on the road behind the park get louder and then I'm brought down to earth straight away.
These are few magical moments I get to experience otherwise in a overcrowded, getting to be over polluted city having a population of close to 8 million people.
This is when I envy people who stay so in the countryside close to nature away from this hustle and madness.
If you stay in close touch with some scenic wonders of nature share your experiences with me.

I envy people that get to live amongst nature and tranquility on a day to day basis as well alok as I have been all caught up in the hustle and bustle of crowded cities for some years now. My fondest memories are sitting on untouched beaches back in Australia with the sun in my face and the wind in my hair. The crisp sea air filling my nostrils and the sunlight sparkling off cool and clear blue water just begging me to dive in! The sounds of the waves crashing, the crunch of the sand beneath my feet...... Absolutely blissful and something I miss so, so much. A beach will be one of the first places I will visit when I eventually return home.

Wow! That's so serene and blissful! Lucky you!
We live in the outskirts of the city. So our place is not so urbanised as yet. It feels good to look at the greens which still in profuse in our locality. Even though the honking and the pollution is increasing We are still a priviledged lot.
Even my windom is faced to the western sky and on off days I just love to make stories about the beatiful floating clouds and silhoutte of greens trees. ometimes it's so blue and sunny and sometimes its not so but I have loved my sky always. OK, it's your sky as well. It's our sky - open, vast, blue and all pervasive. Rains have a different beauty and so it the winter sky. And the sunset has always been sad with red, orange, yellow hues. Telling us that another day is over!

Lucky me or lucky you ? Your view seems to be better than mine. And mine exist no longer for it has got covered up with some construction. I have to take a walk now if i want to experience that. It does make such a difference in having something like this to look out and dream about doesn't it ?

I am sorry but I am sure I wouldn't be as lucky as it gets. For soon the dilapilated place next to ours would be erecting some mumtistorey, killing my vision thus. How I will miss it! However, we can always go to the terrace to have a clearer view. Why don't you try?

when we went to hong kong, our room had a view of a soccer field, a school and the buildings, a road and mountains.. Good thing we were at the top and we get to enjoy the view, especially during the sunset:) soccer is not one of our usual sport so both me and my cousin were so excited because we don't get to see students practicing for soccer in our country and they were really very good..

Hello Alokn... by now, you know I go on hikes for work. Before this, I sporadically would go on trails with Boyfriend. But I never knew that the place I live in is surrounded by a lot of state parks and everytime I go to one for the first time, I always am amazed. I hope you get more of these "room with a view" moments.
