| Grand Ole Opry  | | | |   Has anyone ever been to the Grand Ole Opry? I am planning a trip there and was wondering what there is to do there. Is there a tour we could take of the Opry itself? I really don't want to see a live show there, but take a tour. Do you know if you need reservations? Is there anything else that is worthwhile to do in Nashville for someone that has never been there? I have gone several times to Nashville but never had interest in the Grand Ole Opry. One of my friends is dying to go there. He cannot walk for very long so I did a little research and found a place that rents scooters, but I am just curious if anyone has ever gone there and what to expect. Thanks for any help/contributions! We are going next week.

| |  went there years ago for the show not sure that is still open for the moved alot to opery land USA.
ANd if that is still standing they have shows and museums and alot of things right on that property The old Opery house s in town wehre opery land was out but Cumberland river I went in the late 70 and erly 80s took my mom and day there. and then it got flooded but hubby worked there on clean up and putting new electric in but really havent heard about it fopr year I would google it to see if still there and what you aelse ya can see
