Nevermind and In Utero are undoubtedly their most famous and successful, but my personal favourite Nirvana album is "Bleach". Channing's drumming is not nearly as good as Grohl's I will admit, but the whole tone of the album is fantastic. Sucks you in, keeps you hooked, totally repititive and hypnotic. Anybody agree?

1. grunge_avenged (223) | 4 months ago | Im not sure if I would agree with you being Nirvana's BEST album but I would agree it is for sure up there .. Definatly second best at the least. It has really catchy songs that set this album apart from the rest .. Sounds more like metal or experimental or something of that sort then "distorted punk" or a grungey sound. I do really like In Utero and Nevermind (of course) but I really like the songs on Incesticide as well, which is prolly underrated and is basically all their B-sides or whatever..

5. marquisdesade (208) | 3 months ago | Personally, I feel "In Utero" as the best among the lot. There are too many great songs on a single album like "Pennyroyal Tea","Rape me","Heart-shaped box" and "All Apologies". It's a definite dream catch for any music lover. "Bleach" too has some awesome tracks in it. "About a Girl" and "Negative Creep" are my best picks from that album. "Nevermind" might be their most acclaimed album, with all the media hits and alike, but, never mind, everyone has their own likings.

6. lakantar (207) | 2 weeks ago | I think nevermind must be the best album of nirvana, though in "bleech" there were songs that defined nirvana's sound for later on, like "blew" "About a girl" "school" "negative creep". in "nevermind" almost every song was and remains a grudge anthem... if I had to vote I would vote for "nevermind" in #1 and on the 2nd place "bleech", "in utero" and "unplugged" (cant decide yet:P)
