Light your whole house with one light bulb?

Many years ago I had a dear friend that was so smart
and would think about the smallest details and was sure he
could in someway help poorer people them himself.
Mike showed me a design one day to light your whole
home with one light bulb. In this design he had mirrors
leading from the bulb, tipped in different angles.
I went to his small apartment that evening and watched as he
flipped the switch and the whole one bedroom apartment
lit up. Of course you couldn't close the bathroom door
or you would be in the dark. The light was dimmer
farther from the bulb as it lost some candlessence.
I wonder if he is designing the lighting in Heaven?
What do you think?

It is a amart idea, and I had thought about this some time back. Never implemented though. Now that you have brought it up must try it in a small way to start.
WE have to look at ways and means to conserve our energy with the inflation going through the roof.

Interesting idea and would have taken quite a bit of planning even for a small house. It would be more difficult in a bigger house.
But its nice that Mike was thinking of a way to conserve electricity!

Hi raydene! That is very smart of your friend! That is a very good way in saving electricity and money. If it can only work out for my home so I can save more on my electric bill but I guess, it won't work at my home. However, I am using those energy saving bulbs and don't really turn them on unless I am working or it gets really dark. haha..
Take care and God Bless!

My apartment is so small that I would have no problem lighting it with just one lightbul. I am legally blind, so I might not een need that. LOL I don't really need to see where I am going, just as long as I knoew where eerything is.
