chewing  | |  Well i have an 11month old border collie and like all puppies he has gone through the chewing stage, well i thought he had.
He quite enjoys chewing plugs, shoes carpet everything.
He has calmed down a lot but is there anything anyone could suggest that may stop him chewing?
He has plenty of walks everyday and is not left on his own very often
he has plenty of toys and chews so i dont really know what to do.
can anyone help?

I would try to give your boy hard dog biscuits that he can gnaw on or, when he is eating something he isn't meant to, try substituting something that he IS allowed to chew on. My boy was REALLY badly chewing up my rugs at one point and just wouldn't take no for an answer so I ended up having to sprinkle a bit of cayenne on the edge he was chewing. He soon got the message and stopped.
