What do you think would be the most influential or true song written in modern day music. In earlier generations, like the sixties and seventies, hundreds of songs have been written and performed by artists who helped mobilize the thoughts and feelings of an entire generation. Is music still speaking the feelings, thoughts, and ideas of its listeners, or has it brought about a cultural and inspirational spiral leading to the eminate destruction of society.

Hi Jeval, welcome to mylot and enjoy your stay here. I agree with you that the music from the 60' and 70' mobilize the young generations to change the society. Now adays the music show the new generations feelings with violence and a contestation of autority that worry all of us. It is the difference between the 60', 70' music that change and give open mind to the society and the ourdays music that only show the feelings of violence and hate. Ofcourse not every music is like this but most of is. Welcome and keep posting.
