what has been the longest time u got no sleep n why?

last week i didnt sleep for 3 days n nights...gone camping with friends and we did not sleep,we only had fun,got drunk....but after that it was terrible-headaches,tired,slept all day and night....can u beat my record?have u done better?

The longest i have gone without sleep was for 2 days when i had to do project delivery to my client and it went in trouble during last minute.

it was in the year 2000, i didn't sleep for two days to finish my research paper...i was already cramming then and i still have an exam the following day so no sleep at all... and i don't want it to happen again...so tiring and stressful....

It was during a leadership training in college. I didn't sleep for three straight days. One was because of the training itself, second was because of the company, and third, we were having so much fun. On the third day, on our way home, we passed by a church to hear mass. I felt myself swaying. When I got home I fell asleep as soon as my back hit the bed.
