I just wanted to wish all of our neighbors to the north a Happy Canada Day since I know that there are quite a few of you on myLot. I did take the time to read up on a bit of facts about Canada and I am sure you're all very proud of your country. What do Canadians traditionally do to celebrate their national day? I was wondering if it is similar to our Fourth of July celebration.

Well, mummymo, my 4th was not that great since I was feeling a bit under the weather, but it worked out well because I finally got a computer of my own.

I wished Vicki a happy Canada Day. I forgot to take the time to address all Canadians in that (please forgive me). I hope all of our Canadian Mylotters had a wonderful Canada Day.
World, from what I saw with Vicki, the practices are similar to the 4th. Cookouts, celebration, gatherings. Pretty neat.

It is pretty neat, progamer! There's nothing like having pride in your country.

I think it's quite similar to your July 4th celebration. I have a number of friends from Canada and some of them go camping or are having a picnic today.
Like I've said in my Facebook status, Happy Canada Day to all my beloved Canucks!

I agree, joliefille, that their holiday is much like our Fourth of July.
